From childhood through adulthood, Sis. Jacques Causey has faithfully served in a variety of roles at St. John Missionary Baptist Church — all in the name of love and dedicated service.

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the St. John MBC family took a moment to honor her service as Youth Director and Choir Director through a special tribute. Causey — who will soon celebrate a new start in marriage — thanked the youth and ambassadors of St. John for her time as Youth Director.

Gospel choir members Bro. Larry and Sis. Joyce Walton stood on behalf of the entire Gospel Choir to honor Sis. Causey through song, as her dad, daughter, and husband-to-be looked on, alongside St. John members.

Sis. Walton sang a beautiful rendition of Cece Winans’ “Goodness of GOD” in a tearful tribute that resulted in a line of members awaiting their turn to offer words of love and plenty of hugs.

Following the Morning Worship Service, St. John members, visitors, and friends filed into the Fellowship Hall to continue the celebration and to share wishes for a successful, productive, and Spiritually-fruitful future for Sis. Jacques Causey and her family.
