The Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is now accepting applications for the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy mentoring program. The Delta Academy mentoring program, for girls in grades 6-8, focuses on self-esteem, personal growth, and goal setting in order to achieve academic and Black Girl Excellence.

The Delta GEMS program is for 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝟗 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝟏𝟐, who are actively pursuing college and/or career options, and are interested in developing leadership and life skills.
