Wake Up Call for African Americans

This is the second month of a new decade. We have found ourselves in the midst of new challenges — the COVID-19 pandemic, the mounting death toll, political and civil unrest and racism. Now is the wrong time to stop on our Christian journey.

However, we must remember that no one owes us anything. So, don’t wait on others to do for you what you can do for yourself.

Also, we must stop living in the past. Many African Americans blame circumstances on past occurrences. Four hundred years ago is history. Cherish the place from whence we have come, and thank GOD for His blessings upon our ancestors back then and His blessings upon us today.

Moving forward, remember to take advantage of opportunities that are there for qualified people. So, let’s work hard, pray harder, and watch our GOD work on our behalf.
