GOD is the Maker of sunshine and rain. Think of what the world would be like without rain. The earth would have no bright colors, no flowers, no trees, no green grass or beautiful scenery. The earth would be like a huge desert.

I hear a lot of people complain when it “rains” in their lives, but I am reminded of what JESUS said when His disciples said, “Master, teach us to pray.” In this model prayer, JESUS said, “Give us this day our daily bread.” We must learn to take one day at a time and accept whatever GOD decides to give. That will be the way of “spiritual weather” for that day. Perhaps, we see this best in the story of Job.

The Bible teaches us that this is the day that The LORD has made, and we should rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).

Behind the rain, the sun comes. So, GOD knows how to beautify the world. After all, everything belongs to Him.
