The greatness of GOD’s chosen people is directly opposite of what the world considers as “greatness.”

The world considers greatness in the sense of superiority. If one has a good education, he or she is considered greater than those without one. People with greater finances are considered greater than ones with lesser finances.

In St. Matthew 23:11, JESUS taught that if you are to achieve greatness, you must become a servant. JESUS said, “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased (humbled); and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted (lifted up)” -St. Matthew 23:11-12, KJV.

A song we should carry in our hearts says, “The more GOD blesses me, the more humble I want to be.”

Let’s strive to have a goal beginning today to become humble.
