While no one – but our LORD – is perfect (Romans 3:23), it is important that we all work daily to live self-controlled and “fruitful” lives – with our eyes set on the prize (Galatians 5:22-23).

You may be going through hard times, but please do not lose hope. Just like the old hymn says, “My hope is built on nothing less, than JESUS CHRIST, my righteousness.” The unwavering foundation of our hope is CHRIST; this is biblical. The book of I Peter 1:13 tells us to “Set [our] hope fully on the grace to be given you when JESUS CHRIST is revealed.” This means that we should look past temporal things (i.e. problems, issues and worldly cares), and set our sights on eternal things (i.e. forever in Heaven with The LORD).

So, what does this mean? It means that troubles don’t last always! … So, don’t give up and don’t give in, but instead change your focus to Him. We believe that Ephesians 1:18-19 says it best: “I pray also that the eyes of your heart be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and the incomparably great power for us who believe.”

In summation, our hope as Christians – as confirmed by GOD’s Word, is that the best is yet to come!
