St. John Missionary Baptist Church Anniversary & Homecoming Celebration

The St. John Missionary Baptist Church family celebrated 101 years of GOD’s blessings during the Church Anniversary and Homecoming services on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Event colors were black and white, Bro. John and Sis. Shelia Whitlock served as chairpersons, and the theme was “Honor Our Past, Embrace Our Future.”
The Anniversary Scripture will be Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you, declares The LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Our guest speaker was Pastor Derrick Davis of Tabernacle of Praise Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Davis is pictured above, as he delivered the Anniversary Message, entitled “We Have Something to Celebrate.” The Sermon Scripture was Psalm 34.
Pastor Delaney and our program chairpersons are also pictured above during their remarks.
We thank GOD for his many wondrous blessings to the St. John MBC family over these 101 years!
“Study to show thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” -2 Timothy 2:15
